Battery Installation; Forward/Reverse Switch - Matco Tools MCS48V Operating Instructions Manual

Battery Installation:

To remove the battery, push the
battery release button on both
sides of the battery pack and pull
the battery to remove from the unit.
To install the battery, push the
battery into the unit until the
battery release buttons click
into place.
Drain battery completely before
recharging and charge to full
capacity (approximately 1 hour)
every time to maintain maximum
battery life.

Forward/Reverse Switch:

• The spindle is locked in place when the switch is
in the center or off position or at any time the tool
is not operating. The switch can be activated in the
direction desired. The switch will automatically
return to the center off position when pressure is
released.
• Push the switch forward to lock the forward/
reverse switch, back to unlock.

Charging and Installation:
• Remove the battery from the unit and insert in
charging stand in proper position.
• Plug adapter into the wall outlet (110 volt).
Charging will complete in about 1 hour.
• Note: Light is red while
charging and changes to
green once completed.
Operating the Tool:
1. How to insert and remove a bit.
• Hold the unit in one hand.
• Insert the shank of the accessory into the holder.
2. High/Low speed selection.
• Push speed switch forward for low speed (1),
back for high speed (2).
3. Select the applied torque by rotating the torque
adjustment ring. Choose setting based on the
application.
4. Manually adjust to straight line or pistol grip position.
