- Page 5 Operation The chair has a lever on its side which controls the incline. Pull the lever as you push back on the back of the chair while sitting in it to recline. The leg rest will unfold simultaneously. When you leave the chair, pull the lever while leaning forward, and the back and leg rest will automatically return to their original positions.
