2. Preferably place the air purifier on the top shelf of the refrigera-
tor. Make sure not to cover the unit.
The air purifier is designed for a refrigerator capacity of 250 l. If
there is still intense unpleasant smell in the refrigerator while
operating the unit in the mode LOW, turn to the next setting HI.
When using fresh alkaline batteries and operating the unit con-
tinuously, an uninterrupted operation for approx. 3 months is
expected.
If desired, check the voltage of the batteries and proper opera-
tion of the unit by switching on and off. A flashing green LED
indicates that the unit is functioning and that the voltage is suffi-
cient. If the LED is flashing in red light, replace the batteries as
soon as possible.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Remove the batteries if you do not use the unit for long period of
time.
When removing the unit from the refrigerator, e. g. for replacing
the batteries, please note that due to low temperature of the
refrigerator, there will be water condensation on and inside the
unit. Therefore, wait until the temperature of the air purifier
reaches room temperature or wrap the unit in a clean cotton
cloth to absorb the water condensation. Afterwards, replace the
batteries.
After cleaning the housing of the air purifier, place it immediately
back into the refrigerator. Only use a lightly moistened cloth for
cleaning. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for
cleaning and do not allow liquids of any kind to enter the unit.
