General Introduction

The ASFCAM2 is an outdoor bullet IP camera suitable for monitoring outdoor areas around the home.
Main features
Weather proof housing to withstand long hours of outdoor operation
Powered by POE (Power-Over-Ethernet) for easy installation with option for DV12 adaptor
IR LED for clear night vision
H.265 encryption for efficient image compression
The Smart Force Gateway cloud platform is required for using this camera.

Powering up the camera

Method 1: By POE
Connect the camera's Ethernet connector to a cable from a POE-compatible equipment such as hub or
switch. Ensure that this cable provides access to internet.
Method 2: By DC adaptor (not provided)

*Reset (Orange)
*Ground (Black)
1. Connect a 12V DC adaptor to the camera's DC jack. Note the Ampere and polarity of the DC adaptor
fits the power requirement shown on the camera's rating label.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure the camera leads and are connections are
mounted in a suitable IP rated box.
2. Connect the camera's Ethernet connector to a router with internet access.

Learning with Smart Force Gateway

1. Log into the Smart Force account from a web browser.
2. Select "System", then "Add a device".
3. Select "Camera".
4. Enter the Access Code found on a label on the camera and click "Next step"
5. The screen below will appear if the process is successful.
