Setting up the parabolic

WARNING! Fire hazard
The location for setting up the parabolic
heater has to meet the following require-
ments:
• outdoors only
• in an open, well-ventilated area which
is protected from direct winds
• placing surface for the parabolic
heater
– is made from heat-proof, non-com-
bustible or non-flammable materials
– provides standing level on or above
the ground
• is solid, stable and flat level

container, remove the empty gas container
(see chapter "Disconnecting the parabolic
heater from the gas container" on page 9).
2. Check that the sealing washer (fig. 1 5,
page 3) is in place and in good condition.
3. Close the control valve by turning the temper-
ature control knob fully clockwise (see
fig. 2 1., page 4).
4. Place the heater and the gas container in an
upright position.

5. Carefully screw the heater onto the gas con-
tainer clockwise until the sealing washer meets
the gas container (see fig. 2 2., page 4).
6. If there is a smell of gas or you suspect a leak:
– Coat the connection, using soapy water.
– If bubbles appear, do not continue to use the
appliance. Remove the appliance from the
gas container and contact an authorized ser-
vice agent.
