You are now the lucky owner of a Vigier instrument. An instrument whose qualities will become
more and more obvious to you everyday and provide you with years of satisfaction. Once
you've mastered it you will find it will adapt perfectly to your playing style. To help you get
started we put together this manual. Should you require further information, please feel free to

strings
(gauge 9-46). Ask for them at authorized Vigier dealers.

STRING CHANGING

CHANGEMENT DES CORDES
1) Take the 2.5mm Allen key fastened behind the headstock and starting with the middle locking
screw loosen each screw (1). Caution: Loosen only until their ends are pulled up from the spring
plate (3) to avoid losing them. Next, with your fingers loosen the 6 fine tuner screws (2) until
they are at a zero position and remove the lock nut.
1) Dévisser les vis de blocage (1) à l'aide de la clé six pans de
2,5 mm (située derrière la tête de la guitare).

2) Unwind your old set of Vigier strings from the machineheads. To remove the strings at the
bridge end insert the 2mm Allen key fastened behind the headstock into opening (E) in front of
the bridge saddle. (opening facing bridge pickup)
2) Dérouler les cordes usagées et les faire glisser à travers le fine tuning.
3) Take your new set of strings and cut the ball end off. Caution: On the E, B and G string we
strongly suggest you keep the ribbed end of the string to avoid having it slide out of the saddle
