- P_DET: Voltage output of power detector, input to Robin.
- P_REF: Voltage reference from a diode which is the same type as used in power detec-
tor.
Used to obtain temperature variations of diode in order to cancel out temperature
variations from power detector data. Input to Robin.
- PWROUT: This is an analog Robin output that is proportional to transmitted power (the
output of an op amp which subtracts P_REF (reference data) from P_DET (power detector
data))., goes to UEM.
- IREF_CEL/IREF_PCS: (names within Robin: PACTRL_ICEL and PACTRL_IPCS) Output
from Robin to PA. Within Robin, it's the output of a current mirror that is used to control
PA gain. (Therefore the PA_AGC is an input to Robin.)
- TX IF AGC: This is a PDM controlled line. The higher the PDM value the lower the gain.
- TX RF AGC: This is a PDM controlled line. The higher the PDM value the lower the gain
- PA AGC: This is a PDM controlled line. The higher the PDM value the higher the gain
PCS TX Split Band Filter Z601
Due to the close separation between RX and TX bands in PCS compared to the width of
the RX and TX bands, a single filter in PCS is not available that gives the required rejec-
tion in the RX band, with the required insertion loss in the TX band. Therefore, two filters
are used, which are housed in the same package. One filter is for the lower half of the
band (channels 25-599), and the other filter is for the upper half of the band (channels
600-1175). Switching circuitry selects the correct path depending on the channel.
