Light Source Settings
Description
Light Source Mode
ͫ Normal: Provides full light source brightness.
ͫ Eco: Reduces light source power consumption by 30%
and lowers brightness to extend the light source life and
decreases the fan noise.
ͫ Dynamic Eco: Reduces light source power consumption by
up to 65% depending on the content brightness level.
ͫ SuperEco+: Reduces light source power consumption by
60% and lowers brightness to extend the light source life
and decreases the fan noise.
NOTE:
To control the light source temperature, Eco Mode will
be switched on for 10 minutes every 4 hours when the
Light Source Mode is set as SuperEco+.
NOTE:
Color Mode and Reset Color Settings will not be available
when the Light Source Mode is set as SuperEco+.
Reset Light Source Hours
Resets the light source timer after a new light source is
installed. For changing the light source, please contact qualified
service personnel.
Light Source Hours Information
ͫ Light Source Usage Time: Displays the number of hours
the light source has been used.
ͫ Equivalent Light Source Hour: Displays the overall light
source life. The method of calculating the equivalent light
source hour is as follows:
PX701-4K:
Total (equivalent) Light source Hour = 3.34 x (hours used
in Normal mode) + 2 x (hours used in Eco mode) + 1.34
x (hours used in Dynamic Eco mode) + 1 x (hours used in
SuperEco+ mode)
PX728-4K/PX748-4K:
Total (equivalent) Light source Hour = 5 x (hours used
in Normal mode) + 2 x (hours used in Eco mode) + 2.5 x
(hours used in Dynamic Eco mode) + 1 x (hours used in
SuperEco+ mode)
