PROGRAMMING

SETTING THE TIME

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

• Operating Voltage: 230V (50Hz)
• Maximum resistive power: 3500W/16A
• Maximum inductive power: 460VA/2A
• Day programming: periods of 15 minutes.
• With selector
• Resistive devices are devices that use the same
amount of power throughout the entire duration. E.g.
lamps.
• In contrast, inductive devices consume more power at
start-up than during normal operation. This includes
washing machines, dryers, water heaters, heaters, etc.
• If the inductive device exceeds the value of the
inductive capacity of the time switch, the
device may not be connected to it; failure to do so
could cause the switching contact of the timer to
prematurely break down, and this falls outside the
warranty.
The on and off times are easily programmable, by carefully
sliding the tappets on the rotating ring outwards according
to the time that you want the connected device to work. The
device will not work at when the tappets are faced inwards.
So, if you want to switch the power on from 5:00 PM to
10:00 PM, slide ALL tappets between the number 17 and 22
outwards.
• Rotate the ring clockwise until the correct hour is opposite
the arrow.
• Then, plug the time switch immediately into the power
outlet.
• Repeat this procedure every time after the timer switch
was removed from the socket.
