v Sewing corners
Stop the sewing machine when you reach a
corner.
Lower the needle into the fabric. Raise the
presser foot lifter. Use the needle as a pivot
and turn the fabric 90°.
Lower the presser foot lifter and resume
sewing.
v Sewing stretch fabrics
Baste the pieces of fabric together, and then
sew without stretching the fabric.

v Sewing thin fabrics
When sewing thin fabrics, the stitches may
become misaligned or the fabric may not feed
correctly. If this occurs, place thin paper or

stabilizer material under the fabric and sew it
together with the fabric.
When you have finished sewing, tear off any
excess paper.
