Wireless Mode:

Network Type: Select the network type from the pull-down menu.
802.11b Preamble: Select either Short & Long (default) or Long Only.

When Starting
Ad-Hoc Mode:

Select the amount of power transmission of the antenna.
Level:
Select the wireless mode of your wireless network.
2.4GH/54Mbps - Connect to an 802.11b/g network.
2.4GH/11Mbps - Connect to an 802.11b only network.
108G - Connect to an 802.11g network using Super G.
Select the amount of power the DWL-G680 will use.
Infrastructure - Connect to an access point or router.
Ad-Hoc - Connect to another wireless client (peer-to-peer).
If your network type is Ad-Hoc, the following options will be
available:
2.4GHz 11Mbps - Select if connecting to an 802.11b only client.
Channel - The channel must be the same on the other wireless
clients to connect.
802.11
Select one of the following:
Auto - The DWL-G680 will select the best authentication
Mode:
mode for your network.
Open - the adapter is visible to all devices on the network.
Shared - allows communication only with other devices
with identical WEP settings.
