Security - Overview

WPA/WPA2:

Click to use WPA user authentication. Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA)
improves upon WEP security. In conjunction with a RADIUS server
and EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol), WPA ensures that
only authenticated users access the network.
WPA/WPA2
Click to use WPA (Passphrase) encryption. WPA-PSK provides user
authentication without a RADIUS server in the network. PSK (Pre-
Passphrase:
Shared Key) provides authentication through use of a passphrase
that is shared by the devices on the network. This is the most secure
encryption available without a RADIUS server.
802.1x: Click to use authentication. 802.1x requires that a RADIUS server
be included in your network in order to authenticate users.
WEP: Click to use Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption.
None: Disables security.
