    HARDWARE INSTALLATION Installing the advoli TB6 Standard graphics card is simple, however it is important that you follow all the safety instructions outlined in this document to ensure that you, your computer and the graphics card are not damaged. Improper use of electronic products may cause serious material and personal damage.

 previous drivers and start with a fresh installation of your operating system. Other graphics card drivers can interfere with the TB6 Standard graphics card driver causing it from working effectively and degrade GPU performance.
  • Page 9 The other side of the 9-pin should be connected to your motherboard USB 9-pin header connector. If there is no 9-pin USB 2.0 header connector on your motherboard, but there is a 19-pin USB 3.0 header, please use the USB adapter card that comes with your advoli Standard graphics card.

 DRIVER INSTALLATION After the hardware installation, it is important to follow the process to install the correct drivers. advoli Standard graphics card is designed to work with a multitude of MXM modules from different manufacturers, this includes Type A and Type B MXM modules. It is important to understand that the below process is the driver installation instruction for AMD E8860 MXM module.

    In the playback tab, select the display you want to be the default, after selecting the display to be the default audio display, select set default and click apply. You have now selected the display that will be the default audio channel and your advoli TB6 Standard graphics card is ready to be used.

    If your receiving unit does not have a serial capability, this option will not work. With the advoli RB1 Standard receiver, you will get access to a wealth of additional diagnostics, and ability for full serial communication through our serial dongle.

    The advoli TB6 Standard graphics card uses a Universal Serial COM port that also works under most other operating systems. The port is virtual, so any port setting and speed is supported.

  • Page 15 For the Auto Channel configuration removing monitors will not cause any event on the operating system, and the advoli TB6 Standard graphics card will continue to present a removed monitor as if it is still connected. This is useful to avoid any accidentally disconnected, broken, or missing displays/projectors from causing the desktop of the operating system to be rearranged.

 If the operating system needs to discover new monitor types or its desirable for the advoli TB6 Standard graphics card to detect new types of displays/projectors revert the EDID back to auto-mode by typing the following command: “edid use a”.

 The advoli TB6 Standard graphics card creates a fresh log-file on boot. Any event that happens gets logged in this file. To display this file type “dump” or ‘d’. For any support issues or diagnostics capture, please provide the result of this file and send it to the advoli support team.

    TB6 Standard with other power over cable products or other HDBaseT products. The advoli TB6 Standard seizes to be a certified HDBaseT product, once you put in the jumper. You can only use the Power over Cable function directly with the advoli Performance or advoli RB1 Standard receivers.

    Enable PoC (Read above Warning before proceeding): If you would like to enable PoC for the advoli TB6 Standard graphics card, note that the product seizes to be a HDBaseT compliant and certified product and should not be used with such products other than those approved in this document.
