Replacing the storage drive

Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer.

Disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to
the computer.

If your computer is installed with a front Wi-Fi antenna, disconnect the front Wi-Fi antenna cable
from the Wi-Fi card.

Remove the computer cover. For details, see

Disconnect the storage drive cables from the system board.

Replace the storage drive.

Connect the storage drive cables to the system board.

Reinstall the computer cover and reconnect the cables. For details, see
replacement.
