INSTALLING LOGS

tion the parts in accordance
with these diagrams or failure
to use only parts specifically
approved with this heater may

CAUTION: After installa-
tion and periodically thereafter,
check to ensure that no flame
comes in contact with any log.
With the heater set to High, check
to see if flames contact any log. If
so, reposition logs according to
the log installation instructions
in this manual. Flames contact-
ing logs will create soot.
It is very important to install these logs exactly
as instructed. Do not modify logs. Only use
logs supplied with heater.
1. Place rear log (#1) onto base. Holes in
bottom of log must seat over pins on base
as shown in Figure 17.
2. Place middle log (#2) onto base. Holes in
bottom of log must seat over pins on base
as shown in Figure 17.

3. Place front log (#3) onto grate as shown
in Figure 18.
4. Place left top log (#4) as shown in Figure
19. Match square peg on top of rear log
(#1) with square hole on bottom of left top
log (#4). Match round peg on top of middle
log (#2) with round hole on bottom of left
top log (#4).
5. Place right top log (#5) as shown in Figure
19. Match square peg on top of rear log
(#1) with square hole on bottom of right
top log (#5). Match round peg on top of
front log (#3) with round hole on bottom
of right top log (#5).
