Your washing machine uses water, energy and deter
gent efficiently, thereby protecting the environment
and reducing your household costs. See Page 38 for
consumption values of your appliance.
Using your washing machine in an efficient and envi
ronmentally friendly manner:
q Do not exceed maximum load.

Delicates/Silk
Woollens
With smaller amounts of laundry, the load adjust
reduces the water and energy consumption.
q Where possible, use the 60 C "Intensive Stains"
programme instead of the 90 C "y Cottons+Li
nens" programme. The extended washing time
achieves a cleaning result comparable to that of
the 90 C programme, but uses considerably less
energy.
q Do not use prewash for lightly to normally soiled
washing.
q Add detergent according to the degree of soiling,
amount of laundry and water hardness, and ob
serve the detergent manufacturer's instructions.
q If washing is then to be dried in the tumble dryer,
select spin speed in accordance with the instruc
tions supplied by the dryer manufacturer.
