7.8 LATCH - Forward Facing
Lower Anchor with Top Tether
 Raise forward lock off over the
LATCH belt. Engage the red
lock tab and press down to lock.

Lower flap and secure hook and
loop fasteners.

Attach Top Tether connector to a
designated vehicle anchor point.

Pull Top Tether until

webbing strap is snug.
Your automobile's owner's manual
will give the anchor locations and
maximum weight of the restraint's
occupant for LATCH connections.
Check for movement of the restraint

at the safety belt path. The restraint
should not move more than 1 inch
in any direction.
If the restraint moves more than 1
inch, repeat all safety steps until all
steps are met.




