INSTALLATION TIPS:
Mounting:
For best viewing performance, try to mount this monitor in a location away from glare and
prevent direct sunlight from hitting the LCD screen.
The 3.5" LCD monitor may be small enough to mount on left side of dash for larger vehicles or
RV's. The left side is commonly where drivers first look at the left side mirror when backing
long vehicles. Mounting near the rear view mirror may also be possible. Having the LCD
monitor in an area near where the driver already looks helps to ease the transition from using
only mirrors to using a reverse camera AND mirrors.
Wiring:
We recommend connecting to the reverse light circuit in the vehicle and leaving the power
switch in the "on" position. This will allow the monitor to work automatically when backing
your vehicle. Make connections as shown in diagram on page 2. If you connect the monitor
to a Switched +12V power source, then you must manually turn the monitor on and off when
backing. (Not recommended)
Do not run cables near sources of high-volt noise or interference.
