Installation

If the video source device supports hot-plugging of the HDMI/DVI-D
interface, then having it powered on during installation should work.
Otherwise, make sure it is turned off before beginning installation.
1. Connect the included power adapter to the video converter. The
power LED should light up solid.
2. Connect the video source to the video converter with a standard
male/male HDMI cable or DVI-D to HDMI cable/adapter.
3. Connect the display device to the converter with a standard male/
male DisplayPort cable.
4. Turn on the display device, followed by the video source device,
if not already. The Connection Status LED should light up solid to
indicate a good link between the video source and display.
5. If no video appears on the display, check to make sure the video
source is outputting a video resolution that is supported by the
display device (i.e. 1024x768).
