Do you have a question about the 61973 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
Saw blade stops or stalls through and at the end of the cut. Replaced carbon brushes but same problem.
The Chicago Electric saw with part number 61973 may stop or stall during or at the end of the cut due to the following reasons:
1. Material Misalignment – The material must be flat on the table, flush against the fence, and supported on both ends to prevent binding.
2. Unsupported Material Ends – If the ends of the material are not supported, the blade can bind and cause the saw to slow or stop.
3. Wet or Contaminated Material – Wet or contaminated material can interfere with cutting. Ensure the material is dry and clean.
4. Inappropriate Blade – Using the wrong blade for the material can cause binding. Check that the blade is compatible with the material being cut.
Proper material support, alignment, and blade selection can help prevent stalling or stopping.

@Mr. Anderson...Thank you for your comment. I`ve had this Miter saw for 2+ years and only now it has started giving me this issue. Its not the binding that causes it to stop or slow down, its like threes no power to the blade to even rotate.
