    Operating Instructions ® The hygea Ultrasonic Activity Meter should be used to measure the level of ultrasonic activity throughout the tank. Due to possible variations in the level of energy at different points throughout an ultrasonic bath, it is necessary to measure at different points on the X, Y and Z axis.

    Performance Each ultrasonic bath may not run at the exact same frequency; therefore, the Hygea Ultrasonic Activity Meter will not necessarily give the same readings in two baths that are performing equally well. The Activity Meter should be used to compare a bath over a period of time rather than to compare two different baths alongside each other.

    The time needed to degas the liquid varies depending on the amount of gas present in the liquid and the quantity of water in the tank. Ultrawave recommends a degas period of at least 10 minutes.

    Troubleshooting Ultrawave have a dedicated Service team who are able to resolve any problems ® hygea that occur with your Ultrasonic Activity Meter. However, on many occasions, it is possible that the problem can be rectified by the operator. Check that the meter has a 9V battery installed.
