Instructions:
This Hobbico TorqMaster 90 Deluxe 12 Volt Starter is designed to start model engines up to
.90 cu in (15cc) displacement. For maximum safety and satisfaction, follow these instructions:
1.
Connect the battery clips (HCAP3200) to your 12V battery or connect the banana plugs
(HCAP3205) directly to your power panel.
2.
Check for correct starter rotation. The starter must move your engine in the direction in
which it will run. To reverse rotation, simply reverse the polarity of the starter battery clips
or banana plugs.
3. Be certain that the engine does· not have an excessive amount of fuel in the combustion
cylinder - this is called "hydraulic lock." Starting the engine in this condition can damage
the engine.

For airplane engine starting, it is strongly recommended that the engine be equipped with a

cone for a positive grip on the belt.
