- Page 2 To change your reed simply push down on the ligature as twisting firmly while aligning the Nuvo logo with the front of the instrument. To assemble the mouthpiece, insert the shown and remove the reed. Be careful not to touch the mouthpiece into the top of the instrument while taking care not to damage the rubber o-rings.
