notice is to be taken of the uponor sprinkler MLc-s

installation instructions. Before installation, the plumber
must read, understand and heed these instructions. the
uponor unipipe sprinkler MLc-s system components
are correlated and tested one to the other. We assume
no warranty for the components of other manufactur-
ers. subject to technical modifications!
only tested parts may be used to construct the sprinkler
system. the suitability of the respective components
must be documented by a test report or certificate from
an authorised testing institution for sprinkler systems
(e.g. Vds certificate). the approval for the uponor
sprinkler MLc-s system components is documented
by the Vds certificate dated 17.10.2006.
the instructions, references and laying and processing
instructions of the technical information – „uponor
composite pipe system sprinkler: MLc-s pipe system for
sprinkler ceilings" for the use, planning, processing and
installation of the uponor sprinkler MLc-s system must
also be kept to and followed.

the guideline Vds cEA 4001:2003-01 „specifications
for sprinkler systems – Planning and installation" must
be observed when planning and constructing sprinkler
systems.
Requirements for the tools
All the tools used to install the sprinkler ceiling must be
free of visible damage and dirt. in your own interest,
please check the tools before you start with installation.
Damaged (worn) tools must be replaced. only the
original uponor tools described in this manual may be
used to cut, bevel and bend the pipes. they are
specially adapted and tested for the uponor sprinkler
MLc-s system.
