AIR CLEANER MAINTENANCE: Routine maintenance of the air cleaner helps maintains proper air flow to the carburetor. Check that the air cleaner is free of excessive dirt. 1. Remove air cleaner cover (a). Remove both elements and inspect them for holes or tears.

12. Store the emptied gasoline in a suitable place. CAUTION: Do not store fuel for more than 3 months. DRAINING THE FUEL TANK THROUGH THE CARBURETOR: 1. Turn fuel valve to “ON”. 2. Loosen drain screw from carburetor. Be sure to have a vessel prepared to catch the fuel that will flow out.
