    Assembly instruction WARNING: This plate compactor is heavy. Some procedures may require lifting equipment or two people. HANDLE ASSEMBLY: • The Plate Compactor is shipped with the lower handle already assembled and attached to the plate. • To complete the handle assembly, loosen the knobs in the middle of the handle and swing the upper handle into place.

  • Page 12 AIR CLEANER MAINTENANCE: Routine maintenance of the air cleaner helps maintains proper air flow to the carburetor. Check that the air cleaner is free of excessive dirt. 1. Remove air cleaner cover (a). Remove both elements and inspect them for holes or tears.
