TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Corrective Action
Incoming water temperature must be adequate
for booster size. Increase incoming water
temperature.
Primary water supply is not adequate to provide
correct temperature in sufficient quantities.
Increase supply of primary hot water.
Higher pressure uses an excessive quantity of hot
water. Adjust flow pressure to 20 psi (138 kPa).
Booster water heater must be sized properly for
incoming
water
requirements of the dish machine.
Check voltage on heater serial plate and make
sure supplied voltage matches. A 240 V booster
water heater operating on 208 V reduces wattage
to 76% of the normal output.
This will cause the elements to burn out quickly.
Replace the element(s).
Check for proper fuse sizing. Replace fuses.
Check/reset circuit breaker.
