Introduction The NG3900 is a versatile device for which you will soon find a variety of uses. It is ideal for studying birds and wildlife. The powerful viewing optics make subjects appear 10 times closer. The sound detecting system is powerful enough to pick up a human conversation at a distance of 100 meters or more.
The transparent parabolic dish is attached to the front of the NG3900 by squeezing gently on the two tabs at the front of the unit and pushing dish over the two locking tabs as shown in Picture 1.

The unit is now ready for use. THE VIEWFINDER: The NG3900 uses a sophisticated 10 power roof prism optical system. Objects appear 10 times closer than seen by the unaided eye. Look towards the subject you wish to observe and turn the rubber focusing ring around the eyepiece until you see clearly.

Simply use a patch cord with a male 1/8” mini plug at each end. Insert one end of the patch cord into the NG3900 headphone jack and the other end into the tape recorder’s LINE IN or MIC plug.
