    POWXG4060 Assembling the blower tubes Screw the nozzle onto upper blower tube and tighten securely. Check tightness after initial run and retighten if needed. (Fig. 1) Place clamp around the neck of the blower housing outlet. Do not tighten the wing nut yet.

    POWXG4060 NOTE: Starting the product differs depending on whether the engine is cold or warm. Move the ignition switch to the on position marked I. (Fig. 7) Move the choke lever upwards to the start position (cold start). (Fig. 8) Note.

    POWXG4060  The air filter is dirty. Clean the air filter.  There are carbon deposits in the cylinder exhaust pipe or the muffler. Clean those or change the muffler. 12.2 Starting a flooded engine  Disconnect the spark plug lead, and use the plug wrench to remove the spark plug in a counter clockwise direction.
