    The design for a ditch can be imported or created in the field by driving the intended route while capturing the existing surface. Based on the topography and on certain parameters input by the user, including minimum-slope, minimum-depth, optimum-depth, DITCH will calculate a plan of elevations where the ditch should be cut, display the design, and control the ditcher or blade.

Save as creates a new project name.

    When you select the (.job) extension, it will open all files created for that job. Upon exiting DITCH, you will be prompted to create a project file. If it is a new project, select New Folder and type in desired name, then select OK. Next, name your job while keeping the (.job) extension and select OK again.

    To use topo points sent from an emailing source you must download and then unzip them into a findable location. Now open the DITCH application, then the Topo Points setting and select Open, and find the folder containing the files. Select the file and open it.

This network uses precision calculations to determine location of the receiver.

    Machine Control Solutions 4.2 Connecting To Machine Control You must have the router that comes with DITCH that is set-up for Wi-Fi and machine control in order to proceed. After it is set-up, you will be able to select Machine Control in the bottom left of the tablet screen.

    Machine Control Solutions DITCH DITCH can make ditch paths or it can actually create a ditch after a design has been made using outside software. Use DITCH when you want to create shallow ditches in order to properly maintain the correct amount of waterflow on a job site.
