  • Page 5 Running a Test IMPORTANT: Each a/b test pack contains two test tickets. You MUST run both tickets for a complete test because the tickets are sensitive to different contaminants.. The A ticket is most sensitive to carbamates, the B ticket is most sensitive to organophosphates.

  • Page 7 While the a/b test tickets are developing for 12 minutes, enzymes in the test tickets will interact with possible pesticides or toxic metals that may be present in your sample . If so, the enzyme will be destroyed or inhibited, thus not able to fluoresce as strongly when compared to the “B”...

The ToxDetective reader will process the image of each test ticket, comparing the fluorescence of the “A” sample well with the “B” control well and display a positive or negative result . Make sure to run both the 001a as well as the 001b test tickets for a complete test of your sample .
