accurization algorithm to the specified
coordinates to provide high all-sky pointing
accuracy.
Slew the telescope to the current object
Slew to specified RA/DEC. The command
is "R" followed by the RA 16-bit angle
(34AB) and the DEC 16-bit angle (12CE)
Have the telescope go to alt/az tracking
Return the current RA and DEC. RA is
first. These are 16-bit angles.
Define wherever the telescope is pointing to
by the specified alt and az. This is a
potentially dangerous command; the
telescope depends on having alt = 0 when
the tube is perpendicular to the fork arms. If
this is not true it will invalidate the
computation of RA and DEC. "S" is the
command, followed by the 16-bit positions;
az and alt respectively.
Make the named catalog object the 'current'
object. The command is "O" followed by
an object in one of the catalog databases.
(ex. NGC0001, M001, etc.)
Query the telescope to see if a slew is
currently in progress. A return of 0
indicates no slew and a return of 1 indicates
a slew in progress.
This gives the telescope's relative position.
This is the same as TELESCOP under the
POSITION menu. The command is "Z" and
the return is 16-bit angles, azimuth and
altitude respectively.
