    PENTAGRAM horNet Wi-Fi PCI [P 6121-L7] Introduction PENTAGRAM horNET wireless network adapter is a high-performance, easy-to-install PCI 32-bit network adapter. The adapter can be used in Ad-Hoc mode to establish peer-to-peer connections with other adapters for file sharing, or in infrastructure mode to provide Internet access on home or office networks using an access point or a router.

Encryption – Select the encryption algorithm: None (without encryption – only for Open authentication type) or WEP. Use 802.1X – This option is only available for Open authentication and WEP encryption. Select this option to use the 802.1x protocol for authentication.

Hence, after you select the encryption algorithm, go to 802.1x tab and configure the 802.1x protocol parameters. OK – Save the settings and close the profile configuration.

Encryption – For WAPI authentication, the only encryption algorithm available is SMS4. The WAPI protocol uses the authenticating server – ASU (Authentication Service Unit) for authorization. Hence, after you select it, go to WAPI tab and configure its parameters.

They must be present in the certification chain between the server certificate and the selected certification organization.

Authentication Type – Authentication that the access point uses. Encryption Type – Encryption that the access point uses. WMM sets traffic priorities based on four Access Categories (AC): voice, video, best effort and background. WMM does not guarantee the throughput for individual categories.

The WPS purpose is to simplify protection configuration and wireless networks management. Adapter in the role of the Enrollee or external Registrar supports the configuration method that uses PIN code or PBC configuration method through an internal or external Registrar.
