    There are feet on the underside of the base. As the furniture/floor surfaces are made of diverse materials and are treated with diverse care products, it cannot be entirely ruled out that some of these materials contain components, which could attack and soften the appliance feet.

  • Page 8: Prior To Initial Use

    Prior to initial use Unpacking and setup Remove the kettle from the packaging and carefully remove all packaging material. Check the kettle and base for possible transport damage. Unwind the power cable from the cable winder. This is on the underside of the base. Lead the cable through the cable recess.
  • Page 9 Fill the required quantity of fresh, cold water. Pay attention to the fill level display: The water level must be between MIN and MAX. Close the lid again. Ensure that the lid audibly locks in. Place the kettle on the base. Press the on/off button , if you only intend to boil the water (100 °C).
  • Page 10 Keeping water warm The kettle has a keep-warm function. With a temperature of 40, 60, 80 or 100 °C, you can keep the water warm for approx. 30 minutes. Afterwards, the kettle switches off automatically; two signal tones will sound and all LEDs will extinguish. If you have set a keep-warm temperature of 100 °C, the water will be kept warm within a range of 90-100 °C, in order to avoid excess steam generation.

    After boiling: Press the KEEP WARM button as soon as the signal tone sounds at the end of the boiling process. The appliance will automatically select the temperature to which you have heated the water as the keep-warm temperature. The LED of the relevant temperature, the KEEP WARM and on/off button will illuminate.
  • Page 12 Rinse the sieve under running water or clean it using a damp cloth. Reinsert the sieve into its holder in front of the spout. Ensure that it locks in securely. If the sieve is already very calcified, place it into a mixture of water and vinegar (6:1 ratio) for a few hours.

(see page 11). Two signal tones sound when the button - Function not possible, e.g. if you intend to heat the water to 60 °C, but the water is is pressed.

    Warranty Model: Electronic Kettle GT-WKe-01UK The appliance has been manufactured with the greatest care. The warranty period is three years from the date of purchase. Please retain the sales receipt as proof of purchase as without it the warranty claim cannot be processed. During the warranty period, the sales receipt and the completed warranty card with a description of the fault must be returned once you have contacted the service centre by phone.
