ONE YEAR CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTY

WARRANTY VALID ONLY IN THE COUNTRY OF PURCHASE
IMPORTANT: For it to be used, this Certif icate of Warranty must be submitted along with the original purchase inv oice of
the warranted product. In Colombia, inv oice will be required only where local laws allow.
SUGGESTION: Please register y our product through the dif f erent means of contact of our Customer Serv ice Center in
each country , indicated in section 6 of this Certif icate of Warranty .
1. Manufacturer/Importer/Distributor/Warrantor:
For the purposes of this Certif icate of Warranty, the Warrantor of
warranted products will be:
In Argentina: Whirlpool Argentina S.R.L.; In Chile: Whirlpool Chile
Ltda.; in Colombia: Whirlpool Colombia S.A.S.; in Ecuador:
Whirlpool Ecuador S.A.; in El Salv ador: Whirlpool El Salv ador S.A.
de C.V.; in Guatemala: Whirlpool Guatemala S.A.; in Peru:
Whirlpool Peru S.R.L.; in Puerto Rico: Whirlpool Corporation. In
the countries mentioned abov e, the Warranty granted through this
Certif icate of Warranty is limited to products distributed and/or sold
by the af orementioned entities, in the respectiv e countries. In the
countries listed in section 6 below, except f or Argentina, Chile,
Colombia, Ecuador, El Salv ador, Guatemala, Peru and Puerto
Rico, this Warranty is not v alid without the signature and seal of
the applicable Distributor who, f or the purposes hereof , shall be
directly liable to the f inal consumer and theref ore considered
Warrantor.
3. Warranty validity conditions, extended warranty and Beneficiary/Holder rights
The Benef iciary /Holder of the warranty contained in this Certif icate of Warranty is entitled to demand Warrantor who in
turn agrees to prov ide the Benef iciary /Holder, f ree of charge, with the qualif ied labor and spare parts required to repair
and hav e the warranted product in good operational conditions – the model and serial number of which are indicated in
section 5 hereof and/or in the product label and/or in the User Manual included with the product this Certif icate is an integral
part of -- any time the product requires interv ention due to inconv eniences or operating f ailure of the product or any part
thereof and whenev er the product f ails under normal use conditions.
The term of the warranty granted hereby shall be one (1) y ear commencing on the date f inal consumer originally purchased
the warranted product. During such periods, Warrantor shall ensure f ree repair of the product in the terms indicated abov e.
Warrantor agrees to repair the warranted product in a thirty (30) working day s, period commencing on the date repair claim
is
receiv ed, except f or any occasional delay in spare part shipping, whenev er such spare parts must be brought f rom
ov erseas or in the ev ent of a lack of supply and/or existence of such spare parts f or reasons bey ond Warrantor's control
and in the ev ent an applicable local regulation exists, the term stipulated therein shall apply .
In any case, Benef iciary /Holder will be timely inf ormed about any occasional delay s that may affect the repair period of the
warranted product.
Benef iciary /Holder of the Warranty contained in this Certificate may assign such Warranty along with the warranted produc t
during the term, in which case, Warrantor will only acknowledge the remaining warranty term to the new Benef iciary .
The v alidity and ef f ectiveness of the Warranty granted hereby are subject only to home use of the warranted product, in
compliance with other conditions established under this Certif icate and to the use of warranted product under normal
conditions in accordance with the specif ications, terms and conditions contained in the User Manual this Certif icate of
Warranty is part of .
Additionally , the v alidity of this warranty is subject to using and installing the product in compliance with the instructions
and recommendations contained in the User Manual.
Keep the product protected f rom weather f actors (e.g. heat, humidity , cold, rain) making sure it is not placed outside.
Bef ore installing or using the product, read the instructions f or installation, use and maintenance contained in the User
Manual this Certif icate is part of .
2. Technical specifications, installation, use,
maintenance and repair conditions:
Technical specif ications f or the correct identif ication
of the product, f or the adequate installation and
operation thereof , conditions and specif ications of
use and repair, indications of the place where this
warranty may be ef f ected and the way in which the
Warranty granted on this Certif icate of Warranty –
including any contacts required f or the acquisition or
purchase of legitimate parts – are detailed herein
and in the applicable User Manual this document is
an integral part of .
Warranty claims may be submitted personally and/or
by telephone and/or by email to the Warrantor's
Assistance Center.
4. This Warranty of warranted product does not include:
Damages caused by incorrect, inappropriate or illegal installation
of product.
Damages caused by installation and/or correction of a def icient
installation af f ected by third parties non authorized by Warrantor.
Damages caused to the product and/or to any part and/or to s pare
parts thereof due to inadequate v oltage, def ectiv e electrical
f acilities, and /or f luctuations of electric current.
Damages caused by product misuse.
Damage caused by f oreign objects (e.g. coins, buttons, clothing
accessories, etc.).
Damage to the Product as a result of undue use of chemical or
abrasiv e cleaning products not intended or not recommended to
clean electrical appliances.
Damage to parts made of glass, porcelain, plastic, rubber; damage
to paint and in general damage (accidental or other) to the Product
that is cosmetic due to normal wear and tear or misuse.
Normal wear and tear of Product or its accessories.
Damages caused and/or resulting f rom the misuse of Product.
IMPORTANT WARNING:
Whenev er the warranted product is repaired and/or manipulated by technical serv ice unauthorized by Warrantor or
whenev er such repair is made using unoriginal spare parts, this Warranty shall be v oid.
For gas powered appliances, this Warranty shall be v oid whenev er the warranted product is not installed in accordance
with currently applicable technical prov isions, regulations and standards, including those applicable to the corresponding
installation serv ice prov ider and in compliance with the User Manual. Products must be installed by personnel legally
qualif ied to install this ty pe of products. It is the consumer's responsibility to verify that the company and/or t he people
directly hired to install gas powered appliances, hav e the credentials required under the applicable standards and
regulations.
Warrantor does not assume any responsibility for any direct and/or indirect personal and/or material damages to purchaser,
consumer and/or third parties related to the warranted product as a consequence of neglecting the indications established
in the User Manual of the product cov ered by the warranty that this Certif icate of Warranty is an integral part of , and
particularly deriv ed f rom noncompliance with the applicable control standards and regulations regarding home f acilities.
This Warranty does not constitute and shall not be construed as an extension or additional term to the terms and conditions
of the product warranty legally established under local laws. This Warranty neither extends nor grants to the
Benef iciary /Holder thereof any rights other than those expressly indicated herein. This without prejudice to the Legal
Warranty acknowledged by each country , which shall be ef f ective in accordance with the terms and conditions set under
the applicable local laws in case any dif f erences may arise.
The warranty granted through this Certif icate of Warranty shall be legally enf orceable only during the term stipulated under
the law. In this regard, it shall be conv entional in regards with any term granted bey ond the minimum term required under
the regulations applicable in each country .
Any technical interv ention/serv ice/repair requested by Benef iciary /Holder within the ef f ective term of this Warranty which
does
not deriv e f rom f aults in the quality and suitability of the product, in accordance with the Warranty terms and scope, shall
Damages to the Product caused by accident, human
or natural acts that may be considered as f ortuitous
ev ents or f orce majeure.
Damages caused by rodents, insects or any other
animal.
Damages caused by strikes, f alls, scratches and/or
marks.
Failure of light bulbs or lamps in products with
interior lighting.
Failure, damage and/or def ects caused and/or
resulting of the transportation and/or manipulation
and/or interv ention of technicians and/or person
and/or any third party non authorized by Warrantor.
General maintenance of product, use instruction or
installation not deriv ed f rom f ailure and/or not
encompassed in repairs deriv ed f rom warranty
enf orceability .
Shipping/transportation and/or deliv ery costs
incurred in order to hav e the Product repaired when
such costs hav e not been authorized by Warrantor.
Replacement of accessories that come with the
product.
Damages caused by commercial use.
