    ADJUSTMENTS MOUNTING THE MOTOR: Install the motor on the transom of the boat. Be sure to tighten the clamp screws securely. Tighten Loosen DEPTH ADJUSTMENT: 1. Firmly grasp the shaft and hold it steady. 2. Loosen the steering tension knob and depth collar knob until the shaft slides freely. 3.

    OPERATION TWIST TILLER: • These motors offer a choice of five forward and three reverse speeds. • The speed control may be operated in either direction, forward or reverse. Turn the tilt twist tiller handle counterclockwise from O (off) to increase reverse speed and clockwise from O (off) to increase forward speed.
  • Page 7 BATTERY To install the battery • Push the lock button, open the compartment cover. • Slide the battery down to lock it into position. The battery is fully inserted into the trolling motor when you hear an audible “click”. • Close the cover until it clicks into place. To remove the battery • Turn the speed control to O(off) position.

    BATTERY CHARGER CHARGING PROCEDURE NOTE : T h e battery is not shipped fully charged. It is recommended to fully charge before first use to ensure that maximum run time can be achieved. This lithium-ion battery will not develop a memory and may be charged at any time. 1. Plug the charger into an AC power outlet. 2. Insert the battery pack (1) into the charger (2). This is a diagnostic charger. The Charger LED Lights (3) will illuminate in specific order to communicate the current battery status.

    PROPELLER WASHER SLOT END PROP NUT DRIvE PIN WEEDLESS PROPELLER WARNING: DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FROM THE TROLLING MOTOR BEFORE BEGINNING ANY PROP WORK OR MAINTENANCE. PROPELLER REPLACEMENT: 1. Using a cloth or glove, hold the propeller and loosen the prop nut with a (1/2") socket. 2.

    MAINTENANCE 1. The propeller must be cleaned of weeds and fishing line. Line can get behind the prop, wear away the seals and allow water to enter the motor. Disconnect battery and check this after each use. 2. To prevent accidental damage during trailering or storage, disconnect the battery whenever the motor is out of the water.
