Changing Camera Settings

Setting the Screen Shut-Off Time

You can adjust the time the screen takes to shut off automatically (p. 52).
This also works when [Auto Power Down] is set to [Off].

Using the World Clock

When traveling abroad, you can record images with local dates and times
simply by switching the time zone setting. If you pre-register the destination
time zones, you can enjoy the convenience of not having to switch the Date/
Time settings.

Touch [Power Saving].
Drag vertically up or down the screen to
choose [Display Off], then touch qr to
choose a time.
In order to save battery power, it is
recommended to choose less than
[1 min.].
Set the home time zone.
Touch [Time Zone].
When setting this for the first time, check
the information that displays on the screen
at the left, then touch [Time Zone].
Touch qr to choose the home time zone.
Touch
to set daylight saving time
(adds 1 hour).
Touch Ú.
