Device Description
The PowerPack Dual Control Footswitch Model # 309-004R (Footswitch) is a non-sterile, reusable unit intended
to be used only with Microline Cautery Instruments and the Microline UPS The Footswitch has one outlet cable
which is connected to the UPS. The Footswitch has two power settings, variable and high. The amount of power
delivered in the variable mode is determined by the button setting on the power supply. Variable power is activated
by depressing the left footpedal. High power is activated by pressing the right footpedal (see figure).
Intended Use
The Footswitch is intended for use only with Microline Cautery Instruments and the UPS for the simultaneous
cutting and cauterization of soft tissue during surgery.
Operating Sequence
1. Refer to the appropriate Instructions For Use for both the UPS and the Microline Cautery Instrument
being used.
