- Page 15 2. MAINTENANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS Magnetic elds: avoid leaving your watch near a device generating magnetic elds. Salt water: always rinse your watch in fresh warm water after swimming in the sea. Precautions regarding water-resistance: to ensure the water-resistance of your watch, make sure the crown is always fully pushed or screwed back in the case and do not unscrew or pull out the crown in a humid environment.

As soon as you feel a resistance, it means that your mainspring is fully wound up: do not try to continue turning the crown because it may damage the movement.
