5. Intended use

The Chain Hoist is a device for vertical lifting and lowering of loads.
The chain hoist is provided for attachments (Attachment point - bottom) at altitudes from
3.0 to 3.5 meters. Outside this height, the hand chain must be shortened / extended ac-
cordingly.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to
be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any
damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or
industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the equipment is used in commercial,
trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

6. Safety information

1. The rated load limit must not be exceeded, as overload can damage the chain hoist or
reduce the lifting capacity in the future.
2. Do not use electrical appliances to operate the chain hoist. The chain hoist is designed
for manual use only.
3. Do not try to repair the load chain. If it is damaged, the load chain should only be
replaced by an expert. The load chain must be replaced with a new one of the same
welded and hardened steel, in the same size and strength/thickness.
