ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Do not connect electricity until lamp is fully assembled.
1. Unpack all parts and remove packing materials. Place lamp base on a level surface.
2. Place clamp (I) onto a sturdy mounting surface. Tighten the clamp by turning knob (K)
to secure lamp to the mounting surface.
3. To adjust position of arm (F) loosen knob (G). Move arm (F) into desired position. Turn
knob (G) until hand tight to secure arm position.
4. To adust position of arm (D) loosen knob (E). Move arm (D) into desired position. Turn
knob (E) until hand tight to secure arm position.

5. To rotate the lamp at clamp, loosen knob (J) and rotate lamp to desired position.
Turn knob (J) until hand tight to secure lamp position.
6. Remove flange (A) from socket (C). Place shade (B) onto socket (C). Thread flange (A)
onto socket (C) until hand tight to secure shade.
10. Insert one 60W MAX. Type B, candelabra base bulb into the socket (C).
11. Insert polarized plug (L) into wall outlet.
12. Control power to the fixture by operating the switch on the cord.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
* This lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If it does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do NOT alter the plug.
* Do not use with an extension cord unless the plug from the
lamp can be fully inserted itno the extesion cord receptacle.
* Switch power off and remove plug from the wall outlet
before replacing the bulb.
