V1.0 800 lb Trailer Winch 8900698 12. Never operate the winch if the cable shows any signs of weakening, is knotted or kinked. 13. Do not cross over or under the cable while under load. 14. Do not move vehicle with cable extended and attached to load to pull it. - Page 6 8900698 800 lb Trailer Winch V1.0 HANDLE Install the handle (#19) on the shaft bolt (#1) and secure with a lock nut. CABLE AND HOOK Select a winch cable with breaking strength that is at least 1-1 ⁄ 2 times the winch rating (see Specifications).

V1.0 800 lb Trailer Winch 8900698 Thread the strap under the bushing (Fig. 3-1). Lay the strap loop between the oval slots. Insert the bolt through the drum sides and loop. Secure with a locknut on the gear side. Tighten the locknut enough so the bolt is snug, but can still slide in the slots. -
