SUPPORT@QVTOOLS.COM Chipper Operation All branches should not exceed 5in (PK0915)/ 4in (PK0903) diameter. Fresh cut branches and straw are recommended for best performance. Due to different hardness and moisture content, the engine may struggle but will continue to chip. Proper insertion of branches is large diameter to smaller diameter. - Page 7 POWERKING 1-800-344-3371 SUPPORT@QVTOOLS.COM Before performing any maintenance procedure or inspection, stop the motor, unplug the power cord and wait 5 minutes to allow all parts to cool. Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental startup. Important Setup Notes Our unit does NOT have a GEAR REDUCTION SYSTEM as noted in the Kohler manual. This engine does not need OIL for a GEAR REDUCTION SYSTEM.

Make sure to use 2x4 or any soft material in the drum to prevent it from moving. If the drum moves, you may strip the bolts. Also, use rags or paper towel in the entry to prevent bolts or blades from falling into the drum.

Are you using fresh, clean gas? If the gas is old, change it. Make sure it has space on the sides for installation of the wheels (2) and support leg (4). Attach wheels (2) to axle stand (3) and use the proper nuts to secure.
