Preventative Maintenance Manual – Salute RDX
Preventive Maintenance
Preventive maintenance should be carried out every 12 months
Replace Air filter every 3 months.
Replace Synchronous timer and valve set every 18 months.
Grease the mechanical valve every 12 months.
Check:
a) Case is free from debris
b) Compressor is seated properly in its housing
c) Electrical connections are secure and completely insulated
d) Pneumatic tubes are completely secure on compressor and rotary valve
and are free from kinks
e) Wiring to printed circuit board (PCB) is intact
f) Outlet tubes and connectors are secure and fitted correctly
Remove, service and re-install synchronous timer and rotary valve module
a) Identify the timer & valve module
b) Disconnect pneumatic tubing from the three components - a. valve to compressor
b. valve to solenoid/sensor c. valve to pump outlet

c) Unscrew and remove two screws. Remove left and right metal fixtures.

Separately wipe and clean the upper and lower valve. e) Grease (use an inert grease such as lithium grease) and replace or assemble components in the reverse order of removal.
- Page 3 Preventative Maintenance Manual – Salute RDX Resetting the Service Light When the pump reaches 6000 hours of use, the service alarm will trigger. To reset the service light, open the case and locate the time counter on the main PCB. Below the right hand corner is a small black reset button.
- Page 4 Preventative Maintenance Manual – Salute RDX c. Under Static mode, test pressure at P8. Manometer A =47 mmHg (+/-6) Manometer B =47 mmHg (+/-6) Manometer C =47 mmHg (+/-6) Switch on the main power. Standby light on and press power button. Press “+” to P8 and switch to Static mode.
