The Visco material is breathable and non-irritating, and helps to dissipate moisture and perspiration away from the body. It is common for modern mattresses to have anti-bacterial covers, but the Nightingale mattress now achieves the same standard internally. The Visco-Elastic material is temperature sensitive memory foam that consistently conforms to the patient’s body shape. -

Blood and bodily fluids High levels of available chlorine (10,000 parts per million) will inactivate most bacteria and viruses. Nightingale treat blood or body fluid spills with NaDCC solution at 10,000 parts per million available chlorine.
