To operate from a battery, unclip the battery compartment lid and insert a
PP3 battery, observing the correct polarity. Replace the battery compartment
lid.
To operate from the mains, plug the the power supply into a 13 Amp mains
socket, and plug the output lead from the power supply into the DC9V socket
on the top panel of the JB702.
If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 3
Amps, and that it is fully unwound.
Switch on at the mains socket.
Connect the lead from the guitar to the socket labelled INPUT.
Move the on/off switch to the ON position. The red LED indicator will
illuminate.
Adjust the volume and tone controls for the best output sound.
If listening through headphones, plug them into the socket labelled
H.PHONE. Some headphones may require a 3.5mm to 6.3mm jack adaptor.
Move the power switch to the DRIVE position to select the built-in "overdrive"
effect.
Unplug the unit from the mains when not in use.
Check the unit regularly for damage and cease using it immediately if any
damage to the product, the cable or the mains plug is found.
You must not dispose of this appliance with domestic household waste.
Most local authorities have specific collection system for appliances and disposal
is free of charge to the end-user.
When replacing an existing appliance with a similar new appliance your retailer
may take the old appliance for disposal.
