2. Remove all original parts used to mount your V3 bayonet. 3. Place the V3 base on the bracket head and replace the screws. Note: feel free to use a small amount of blue Loctite on the screws. Tighten screws to 20 Inch# Max.

Set the tension as tight as possible, while still allowing the lever to be released using your fingers. 2. Next, place the barrel spacers you normally use on your V3, and hold the unit in place on your barrel as you would if using the V3 mfg supplied retention strap.

5. Next place your square spacer tube (V3 mfg supplied) on the bayonet, to get proper alignment to the bore (see V3 mfg instructions). You may also use a properly sized wooden dowel for alignment. The bayonet must be positioned 1/8”-1/4” below the bore diameter, to ensure bullet clearance.
