OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS WARNING Before operating the power door and power ramp, make sure the rear area of the vehicle is clear and unobstructed. Allow approximately 8 feet for the ramp to deploy beyond the rear of the vehicle plus an additional 4 feet for the wheelchair occupant to maneuver. - Page 10 OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS The wiring circuits for the automatic ramp conversion are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses and circuit breakers. This greatly reduces the chance of damage by electrical problems. Checking and Replacing The Fuse If the automatic ramp deployment is not working, check the placement and condition of the fuse.

DOCKING SYSTEM OPERATION Entering the Docking Base To enter the docking system requires that you guide your wheelchair over the top of the docking base until the docking pin mounted to your wheelchair is fully engaged. TO ENSURE THAT THE WHEELCHAIR IS FULLY ENGAGED, YOU SHOULD ATTEMPT TO EXIT THE SYSTEM WITHOUT PRESSING THE RELEASE SWITCH AND WITH THE VEHICLE IGNITION OFF . - Page 14 DOCKING SYSTEM OPERATION IF THE VEHICLE LOSES ELECTRICAL POWER, THE EMERGENCY RELEASE LEVER SHOULD BE PUSHED TO THE LEFT TO RELEASE THE WHEELCHAIR. Docking System Controls The system control panel must be mounted in an area that is readily visible to the driver of the vehicle. The control panel provides a release switch as well as displaying the dock base status through an array of colored lights and an audible alarm.

WARRANTY FREEDOM MOTORS USA, INCORPORATED CONVERSION COMPONENT LIMITED WARRANTY Freedom Motors USA, Inc. (“FMI”) provides a comprehensive Conversion Component Limited Warranty (“Warranty”). This Warranty is designed to work with any applicable Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) factory warranty. WHAT IS COVERED? This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. - Page 19 WARRANTY WHAT ARE THE COVERAGE PERIODS? Newly manufactured and installed Kneelvan wheelchair van conversions and newly installed and manufactured FMI specialty conversions on chassis which are five (5) or less model years old and less than 50,000 miles are warranted for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Newly manufactured and installed Kneelvan wheel- chair van conversions and newly installed and manufactured FMI specialty conversions on chassis which are 6 or more model years old and more than 50,000 miles are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
