Assembly
1) Locate a flat, dry area with access to electrical outlet or extension cord.
IMPORTANT: Because of the size and weight of the Freefall Supreme, careful
thought must be given to the setup area. Ideally, the Freefall Supreme tube
should be carried into position while inside it's protective storage bag. The best
setup position will also make launching easy. Therefore, locate the Freefall near
the water's edge. NOTE: Dragging or sliding the Freefall over ground either
before or after inflation can cause damage.
2) Once in the setup/ launch position, unfold the Freefall Supreme completely
and locate the Slide Valve. The Slide Valve is located on the left hand side of the
slide near water level.
3) Using a high output pump capable of reaching 1.6 psi (minimum) , place the
inflation hose with proper adaptor into the Slide Valve to inflate the Slide section
of the Freefall Supreme. Inflate to 1.0 psi (0,069 bar). Check for proper air
pressure using a manometer. After inflation, replace Slide Valve cover. Inflation
times can vary by inflator, but the slide section should be firm and tight when
completely inflated. DO NOT OVER-FILL. Excessively high pressure can
cause damage to the product and may void the warranty. Carefully monitor air
pressure in the product especially during hot weather.
WARNING: Do not use an air compressor to inflate tube. Air compressors are
designed for high pressure inflation and can cause tube to burst if over-inflated.
4) Next locate the Main (Ladder) Valve located on the back of the Freefall
Supreme, near the Warning Labels. Inflate to 1.8 psi (0,124 bar) and replace the
Main valve cap. Check for proper air pressure using a manometer.
WARNING: Do not use the Freefall Supreme without adequate air pressure -
1.6 p.s.i. (0,110 bar) minimum in the Main bladder.
5) Next locate the Guard Valve (#3) found on the Guard Tube just above the
Slide Valve (#1). Inflate to 1.0 psi (0,069 bar) and replace the Guard Valve cap.
Check for proper air pressure using a manometer.
6) Depending on the application, some users may have purchased an optional
Swimstep or Runway boarding platform. If you have a boarding platform, con-
nect it now using the instructions provided with the accessory. NOTE: It is best
to attach such items while they are deflated. Once fully attached with Interloc
straps, then inflate.
7) To launch the product, make sure to have at least 6 people evenly spaced
around the product to help carry it. NEVER DRAG THE FREEFALL SUPREME!
YOU MUST LIFT AND SET TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENTAL TEARING AND/OR
ABRASION.
Anchoring
IMPORTANT: Proper anchoring is essential to the safety and performance
of your product. Due to the wide variety of conditions, we advise using a
professional skilled in mooring and anchoring, and experienced with local
conditions. If improperly anchored, the product can move and/or float away.
North Sports, Inc. is not responsible for any damage, injuries or losses due to
improper anchoring.
NOTE: There are 4 heavy duty anchor rings underneath the Freefall Supreme.
These rings are located inward from, and underneath each of the 4 corners. Due
to the high loads that may be generated, you should use ALL 4 of these rings to
spread the load and properly secure the product under normal conditions.
Here are some general guidelines for anchoring your product. These guidelines
are not intended to replace the need for professional installation.
North Sports, Inc. #1 North Shore Dr, SE White Salmon, WA 98672
1) Choose a location for your Freefall Supreme and/or aquapark. Place the
product in at least 11 ft. (3,34 m) water depth and in an area protected from the
wind and boat traffic. Review your lake rules and restrictions with your local
authorities.
2) Carefully check the water and seabed below the selected area for sharp or
dangerous objects (i.e. rocks or stumps).
3) Keep a safe distance from docks, boats, boat lifts, and any other structures.
DO NOT tie the product to a dock!
4) Anchors and anchor chain are sold separately. We recommend a MINIMUM
of 500 lbs. for short-term anchoring of the Freefall Supreme in settled conditions.
Heavier and/ or multiple moorings (1000 lbs. - 1500 lbs. or more) should be
used with Aquaparks or on large, windy bodies of water. Professionally installed
ground screws are also acceptable.
5) Attach anchor chain securely to the anchors. Use a buoy tied to the other end
of the chain to easily locate your anchors.
6) When the product is in place, shackle the anchor chain to the anchor rings
underneath the product. BE SURE TO ALLOW enough slack in the anchor
chain to allow the product to move in wind or waves without displacing your
mooring.
7) At anchor, the Freefall Supreme is most stable with the slide face toward
the wind, as this applies downward force to the product. WARNING: Orienting
the product across the wind, or with the climbing ladder toward the wind can
generate enough lift to topple the product even in moderate winds. Make sure to
account for this when setting your moorings.
8) If strong winds or storms are expected, it is best to remove the product from
the water and secure or store it.
Operation
1) This item is a water slide. Users climb to the top of the item on the climbing
wall and slide down the face in sitting position. Users may also enter the interior
portion of the item from the side openings. Interior area is designed for splashing
in shallow water. This item must be used with at least one Aquaglide Platinum
boarding platform.
2) When connecting multiple items, use only Aquaglide Interloc™ straps and
connecting rings according to the Interloc™ Strap instructions provided. Make
sure that the connection is tight and that there is NO GAP greater than 25mm
(~3/4") between items. IMPORTANT: Failure to connect these items properly
may result in injury or death.
3) We strongly recommend maintaining supervision at all times during use by
a professionally certified lifeguard. NEVER use unattended.
4) Do not exceed the product's recommended number of users or capacity.
5) USE COMMON SENSE. Never jump or dive from the product. Do not
allow anyone to stand on the top of the product because motion could cause a
loss of balance and injury.
6) Do not swim, stand or climb below any other climbers. Ensure that all
swimmers have cleared the area before entering the water. Never swim
underneath the product.
