3. Important Notes

General Information
The wheelboard is designed for indoor use or flat, smooth terrain. Nevertheless, care must be taken not to slip or spin. This is achieved by
avoiding the maximum speed, on no wet or slippery surfaces, or by avoiding bumpy paths.
Driving in rain or snow is strictly prohibited.
Please always observe the laws and regulations applicable in your country regarding road traffic and vehicle class. Keep in mind that the
legislation may vary by country, and the MODSTER M250 does not have road registration. Use outside this area is at your own risk and
without liability by the manufacturer.
The MODSTER M250 is designed for the transport of a single person up to max. 120 kg and should only be used for this purpose. Failure
to observe this warning is considered to be improper use and is at the user's own risk.
All interventions to increase the performance or speed and generally to change the characteristics of the wheelboard are punishable and
are prosecuted by law. They will void the warranty.
The road traffic regulations must be observed at all times. You are obliged to inform yourself about applicable law in your country and
to comply with it.
The MODSTER M250 is not a toy! It is not designed for the weight of children. We recommend a minimum age of 16 years and a minimum
weight of 20 kg.
Safety informations
Only drive on a dry road. The ride on wet floor coverings can be very dangerous and must be avoided at all costs.
Never drive with motor support on the sidewalk. This is not only dangerous for you and your fellow human beings, but also illegal in
many countries.
We recommend that you do not drive in the dark for safety reasons.
Always wear protective equipment, in particular a suitable helmet, which reliably protects you against head injuries.
The MODSTER M250 is suitable for driving on smooth, flat surfaces. To avoid the loss of traction, always be careful when driving, avoiding
slippery and wet surfaces, loose materials, slopes, breeches and other obstacles.
The wheels must be able to hold the ground for you to stay upright. Slips occur when the grip on the ground is lost, which can lead to
loss of control and fall. Abrupt maneuvers and driving over slippery surfaces, bumps and loose objects and materials can cause them to
lose traction.
Beware of steep slopes! The braking performance is not sufficient in steep, rapid journeys to ensure a safe ride.
Drive slowly on your first ride to get used to the new kind of driving. Keep in mind that a higher speed also results in a longer braking distance.
Please also note that depending on the country, different maximum speeds and restrictions regarding maximum power apply to electrically
assisted vehicles. It is your own responsibility to be informed accordingly and to stick to this.
For a long-term driving fun
Never use the MODSTER M250 on a wet road.
Do not jump with the scooter, as this will lead to excessive loads, which can result in damage to the scooter which is excluded from the war-
ranty.
Be sure to always avoid slopping holes and drive at right angles over curbs and other obstacles.
Warranty notes
The MODSTER M250 may only be used on dry ground, any ride on wet surfaces will void the warranty.
Do not perform any independent repairs. Always contact your service center. Any opening of the kickboard will lead to the automatic
lapse of the warranty. In individual cases, the manufacturer, in consultation with the customer, allows the opening of the footboard under
certain conditions.
The „tuning" of the MODSTER M250 is forbidden. It endangers your own safety as well as operational safety and reduces the life of your
vehicle. In addition, this will invalidate the warranty.
You will find more information at the point 8. Warranty.
