NOTE: Before beginning, cover the play area to avoid possible water damage.

top of the glow stick cap.

cup with one drop of food coloring.

2. String each end of the cord through
the snap lock connectors and tie
double knots to secure them to the
cord. Cut off excess string.

4. Remove the cap from the glow stick.
Pour the colored tonic water into the
glow stick until it is 2/3 full.

6. Press the button on the cap to turn
on the light. Now you have your own
glow stick! Snap the connectors together
to wear the glow stick around your neck!
• Try adding glitter into the glow stick to see what will happen! What else could you add to make the
experiment your own?
• Mix different food coloring drops to make your own color in a separate cup! Always make
sure the proportion is one cup of water for every one drop of food coloring.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Always turn the glow stick "OFF" after playing to conserve battery life.
• Remove the cap from the glow stick before washing. Rinse out the clear portion of the glow
stick with mild dish soap and water only. DO NOT expose the battery compartment to moisture
of any kind. Air dry only.
• DO NOT wash doll's hair with water and/or soap.
• DO NOT dry doll's hair with a hair dryer or subject hair to very high heat in any manner as it will
irreparably damage the hair.
• This toy is to be used with water only when it is fully assembled in accordance with the instructions.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
An adult must install fresh alkaline batteries in your glow stick should the batteries need replacing.
Here's how:
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) loosen the screw and remove the battery
compartment cover from the cap.
2. Install three (3) 1.5V AG10 (LR54) alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the (+) and (-)
ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.

SAFE BATTERY USAGE
• Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
• Use only the type battery recommended for the unit.
• Batteries should be replaced only by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity ( + and – ).
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• When not used for an extended time, remove batteries to prevent possible leakage
and damage to the unit.
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may leak or explode.
